Hello,

Stay at Rosapenna resort and Ardilaun Hotel in Galway—good. Golf: Narin & Portnoo (discovered and to be recommended), Connemara and Rosapenna St Patrick's Links—good.

Too much wind to fully appreciate Rosapenna Old Tom Morris and Galway Bay. But we already knew them.

Summer temperatures. Apart from the wind mentioned, two holes out of 90 with a brief shower of rain and hail.

So overall a successful stay.

Hello RAPHAËL. Thank you for your email. We had an excellent stay. Friday evening was lively at the pub and Port Askaig Hotel. Saturday very warm welcome at the Carrick — top course and very interesting to play. We teed off at 3:30 pm and finished just before dark, then dined at the clubhouse. Mar Hall — magnificent. Lovely places, Old Head, Waterville. Even if Ireland is getting more and more expensive. Certainly a great trip with smooth organisation. We will certainly come back.

Golf trip to Scotland (2025).

Very good stay in Ireland: accommodation, courses and transport (flights and car) matched our requests and even exceeded our expectations.

Favourite: "the mountain lodge" in Killarney—lots of charm, beautiful view, peace and quiet and sheep at breakfast...

Favourite: Connemara golf
