Very well organised trip. Only downside: having to pay €120 for a caddie at Royal Dublin when the course does not require one. Team available and very responsive.

White Sands Hotel: Great location, but unfortunately in urgent need of renovation. The bathrooms were mouldy and the bedroom floors were very stained. Good breakfast, friendly staff.

Kathleen Killarney: Everything was fine, excellent breakfast.

Lemon Leaf Townhouse: Parking not suited to golfers—I did not want to leave my equipment in a more distant public car park overnight. But bringing it to the hotel was not an option either. We did not enjoy breakfast at the neighbouring café much; there was no normal continental breakfast.

Golf Travellers management, dear Camilla, I am back in Paris. Just a few lines to say we had an excellent stay in St Andrews. Your organisation was wonderful. The choice of golf clubs, our driver Bob, the Fairmont Hotel — everything suited us. Thank you again. Please score 5 on every point. We were delighted. Wonderful organisation. Thank you, thank you.
