Hello, Car hire: OK (size fits golf bags). Guest house: small room but perfect location for golf, good breakfast, very friendly hosts (talked rugby with Fiona 😊). Small hiccup on arrival (no code) but fixed quickly! Three courses: New, Jubilee and Old — perfect! Restaurants: Ziggy's (great music and food), Zizzi (good Italian), Mitchell (excellent fish and chips, nice atmosphere). The wine bistro annoyed us — expensive, average quality and service, a bit overrated despite a nice setting. We used the shop voucher for golf souvenirs. Overall very positive about the stay and choosing you. Perhaps provide a map of local courses for a more personalised choice and non-golf sights? We went to Dundee — not much there alas! In any case thank you for these packages — five great days here. Have a good day, Isabelle and Laurent Foulioux

Hello,
Here are the ratings:
St Patrick’s Links 5
Portsalon 4
Narin&Portnoo 4
Sandy Hills 4
Rosapenna Resort 3
Magnificent links!! St Patrick’s Links is truly exceptional. Never played such a beautiful, golfing links with exceptional wild nature and magnificent views!!!
It was a top trip!!!
The only negative is the caddies: too expensive for what they do compared to caddies at Valderrama and Sotogrande (€70).
On the other hand the St Patrick’s Links caddies were very professional and deserved their fee.
A question:
Next year we plan to go to Scotland and play Dornoch, Castle Stuart, Spey Valley and Brora, if possible and not too far from each other. How many months in advance should we book?
Thank you very much for the good organisation!
Kind regards,
Kristel Segers
Dear Sir
The stay went well
Organisation without a hitch
Hotels very good (Delphi very well located)
Golf very good in Connemara (very varied within the course)
In Dublin
- the links very fun
- the castle good in terms of maintenance and course quality but a bit monotonous for my taste.
I suggest for those going to Dublin that you recommend the decorative arts museum—it is eclectic but very interesting and not boring
Kind regards
Laurent Gutmann
Hello
The trip is winding down. Here is our feedback.
Transport with Alex — great company and service. Before each round he gave us water and afterwards a cold beer. Welcome with hot fresh pastries!! He even took us to a golf shop when a friend's driver was broken by baggage handlers!!! Keep using him. He speaks a little French, very polite and ultra punctual. He deserves your trust.
Wyndham hotel — good hotel, large room, friendly service. Pool a bit small and unheated!! One notch below previous trips with you but still very acceptable!
Golf: Old Course Vilamoura — great welcome, photo at the tee brilliant!! They meet you at the end. Beautiful courses, nothing to fault.
North Quinta do Lago — big golfer factory. Mediocre welcome. Course not up to standard — turf fine but design, routing and landscape average. We would not recommend for the pleasure of golf.
Laranjal — welcome barely better. Less factory. Very beautiful course.
South — golfer factory but exceptional course — design, setting and difficulty. Top course without doubt.
Thank you for your organisation.
We are keen for next year Thu 21 May 2026 to Mon 25 May 2026 — southern Spain, Finca Cortesin hotel with Valderrama, Finca, Sotogrande, Zagaleta.
So 4 nights 4 courses if we fly Thursday morning early.
And earliest possible tee times.
Have a good day. See you soon

Hello,
I will send comments next week as we are in St Andrews where we played the Old Course thanks to the ballot.
Kind regards,
Roland Hoffmann
A discovery stay in Connemara in ideally located, high-quality hotels (staff and restaurants) with incredible courses for difficulty and beauty.
Special mention for Glenlo Abbey for the falconry session with the butler and a gourmet dinner in the carriage that served on the Orient Express. Magical!
