Very well organised trip. Only downside: having to pay €120 for a caddie at Royal Dublin when the course does not require one. Team available and very responsive.

We were delighted with our stay and we give a score of 5 to each course: Ballybunion, Tralee and Killeen at Killarney

Doing Tralee first and finishing with Ballybunion is advisable since Tralee offers panoramas and difficulties comparable to Ballybunion, although the latter is by far the hardest and we appreciated having a caddie who advised us and also helped us find our lost balls effectively.

Killarney golf is different but magnificent around the lake with tricky dog-legs that are delicate to negotiate; we played it twice.

Wonderful experiences we will probably repeat

Your comments:

The main issue on our Scotland trip was the parking solution in Edinburgh. The suggested parking was about a twenty-minute walk from the accommodation and nearby meter fees were prohibitive. On the last night, seeing that no car had used the three spaces behind the building on the previous two nights, we parked in one of them with a note on the windscreen saying we would move if required. Otherwise, all bookings were in order for tee times and accommodation. We also had to deal with wind and rain — sometimes intense during our rounds. Overall we are very satisfied with our golf and touring experience in Scotland.

General comment on the trip:

Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Vom Leihauto über die Unterkunft bis hin zum Empfang auf den den jeweiligen Golfplätzen war alles perfekt organisiert. Die Lage des Appartements war ideal, es war nur ein kurzer Fußweg ins Zentrum und zum Old Course. Die persönlichen Kontakte mit den Einheimischen waren sehr positiv. Die Herzlichkeit und Freundlichkeit der Menschen hat uns sehr beeindruckt. Wir haben uns rundherum wohl gefühlt und werden sich wieder nach Schottland reisen.
