Hello Mr Metayer,

A note to say our stay went very well.

The course selection was excellent with special mention for « The Island », not the most prestigious but a formidable links and Glen Druids for the beauty of the site.

Portmarnock mainly has the advantage of being at the hotel site but after The Island and last year Ballybunion you become demanding!....

As for Royal Dublin and the K Club what can you say about the "legends" of these courses so full of history…..

All clubs welcomed us well.

Trying the inland courses was a nice discovery

Car hire was fine but not at the airport door. We had to look a bit to understand the shuttle system, which is efficient.

Portmarnock Links hotel was very good with excellent dining and a very convivial bar.

The weather favoured us again. We had sun, a little rain and especially lots of wind at Royal.

Very positive feedback for this stay in the Dublin region. Hard to rate courses without having played them, but from what I understood the Palmer at the K Club was the most appreciated for its design and especially maintenance quality.

The other courses are also very good. I highly recommend them: The Island, The European Club and Druids Glen.

Regarding the K Club resort, beautiful place, magnificent building. It has 3 restaurants but they are not of great quality. The main restaurant menu is very light and not especially tempting.
